Same excellent cookie paddles that Bosch makes, only this set comes with a metal drive for use with the Universal Plus. When you purchase the Universal Plus, the whips come with a plastic whip drive. You need a metal drive for heavier dough.
The Paddles are made of an extremely tough thermoplastic called Delrin. The all-metal whip drive is mechanically dishwasher safe, but its shiny surface will turn gray if put in the dishwasher.
I still love my cookie paddles! They mix an fantastic cookie dough- no lumps or grainy dough.
